Maya Fleischmann is a freelance writer and editor, and a book reviewer for Publishers Weekly and Audiofile Magazine. Her short stories and personal essays have been published in Chicken Soup for the Working Mom’s Soul, and Peril Magazine. If You Give A Mum A Minute, a metaphoric tale for children and their caregivers, was self-published in 2018. Finding Ching Ha, a novel of cross-cultural adoption and self-discovery, will be self-published in June 2021.
Maya was born and raised in Hong Kong. After much traveling around the USA and the world, she has put down roots in Southwest Florida, where the tropical climate and shimmering waters summon memories of home.
